Realizing our obligation and responsibility to advocate on behalf of the patients and families we serve, the Louisiana Mississippi Hospice and Palliative Care Organization Board of Directors also foresaw evolving federal and state regulatory challenges and changes facing Louisiana and Mississippi hospice and palliative care providers. Consequently, the Alliance for the Advancement for End of Life Care was established as part of our long-term strategic plan to ensure availability of these services to all citizens residing in our two states. The Alliance reaches out to providers, companies and individual in the industry to help us enhance our advocacy efforts for improving care provided during end of life. Promoting hospice and palliative care among policy makers in Baton Rouge, Jackson, and Washington is the focus of the Alliance. For additional information, you may find the Alliance Member tab under the Membership Listing at the top right of the page. Also, you may wish to contact our lobbyists, Elizbeth Duncan (LA) or John Morgan Hughes (MS). Their contact information is listed below.
