In this presentation, Ann Walker & Cordt Kassner will take a closer look at Hospice Life Discharges in LA and MS — an area that continues to pose challenges for both clinical quality and agency performance. We will present case scenarios, examine data on hospice’s live discharge rates in Mississippi & Louisiana, identify key threats to program integrity, and review internal audit tools that may be used to track, analyze, and correct potential issues.
